John Powers entered the Electronic Music World in 1991. Being
located for the Navy in Hawaii, he was exposed to the
bustling, Entertainment and Club scene there. It was such a great
experience he decided to get a job in the Club industry. At first he
worked as a Lighting Director at the “Pink's Garage”. His
Musical inspirations came from such talents such as Frankie
Knuckles, Joy Beltram, Utah
Saints, Altern
8, The
Shamen, N-Joi,
and 808 State.
Pursuing his love for the Music, he eventually, started to Deejay and landed his first main gig and was picked up to play at one of the biggest Stint in Honolulu the“The Garage” formerly known as “Pink's Garage”a Warehouse style Club, and had his first Residency there in 1992.

In
1993 He moved back to Kansas, and due the lack of an
Electronic Music scene, John decided to evolve and tour with Local
Rock Bands, by playing Guitar and Keyboard. After a
few Years and still hungry for the Electronic Music, he returns to
his first love and started to Deejay and also to produce his own
gems.
With the new move he coined the artist name “PowerHouse” and performed locally in the vicinity of Kansas City, mixing genre from Techno to House and Electronica.
During that Time he decided to plunge into production and created some Techno Tracks and also to form a Duo with a Friend which together they performed Life, by bringing the diverse Keyboards and Synths onto the Stage.
His steady evolution in production and consistent efforts, eventually paid off and in 2017 he got approached by an International Label Power Of Love Productions which is based out of Florida and a second base in Kansas City, and got signed and due his former Artist Name being already commercialized he decided to create a Brand new Name “OSC3” which will be launching his new career and propulse him onto the World Stage.
